The Fintech Discounts team is redefining how HubSpot uses discounts as a strategic product, not just a sales tool. The team is building a platform to support everything from discretionary sales rep discounts to automated incentive programs, influencing HubSpot’s revenue engine and market strategy.

About The Role

As a Technical Lead I - Fintech Discounts, you will lead backend projects that shape pricing, packaging, and selling strategies at HubSpot. This role blends engineering excellence with significant business impact. You will collaborate with product managers and senior engineers to drive technical decisions while mentoring your team and balancing product velocity with engineering quality.

In This Role, You Will

  • Design, develop, and scale backend systems for discounting.
  • Guide short-term execution and long-term architectural decisions.
  • Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders.
  • Advocate for elegant technical solutions to complex problems.
  • Foster team growth through mentorship and collaboration.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual cash compensation ranges from $165,500 to $248,300 USD. HubSpot also offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to participate in an equity plan. Compensation packages are tailored based on experience, skills, and other job-related factors.

Work Arrangement & Location

This role supports both remote work and in-person onboarding at a regional HubSpot office, ensuring strong team connections and collaboration.
