About the Role: Senior Marketer, AI Partnerships at HubSpot

HubSpot is seeking a Senior Marketer to spearhead the growth and development of its most strategic AI partnerships, including key players like OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Microsoft. This pivotal role is designed to build, structure, and operationalize high-impact partnership initiatives, directly accelerating HubSpot's AI strategy and driving mutual outcomes with these critical partners.

This position uniquely blends expertise in partnerships, go-to-market strategies, and strategic execution. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing key relationships, identifying lucrative opportunities, structuring joint initiatives, navigating complex agreements, and ensuring the delivery of significant mutual value.

As the Senior Marketer for AI Partnerships, you will translate strategic alignment into actionable joint plans. These plans will encompass product collaboration, innovative go-to-market initiatives, and co-investment opportunities. This role demands a proactive dealmaker who thrives amidst ambiguity, possesses the ability to influence senior stakeholders, and consistently transforms abstract ideas into measurable actions and results.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Own and deepen strategic relationships with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and Microsoft.
  • Identify, structure, and advance high-impact partnership opportunities that drive product adoption, revenue growth, and market expansion.
  • Lead joint business planning with partners, ensuring alignment on shared objectives, investment areas, and measurable outcomes.
  • Negotiate and manage comprehensive partnership agreements, including co-marketing terms, commercial frameworks, scopes of work, and investment structures.
  • Act as a proactive "deal maker," sourcing new opportunities, building compelling business cases, and driving internal and external stakeholders towards agreement.
  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of critical partnership initiatives, such as co-marketing programs and joint GTM efforts, stepping in directly to ensure delivery when necessary.
  • Navigate complex cross-functional alignment across legal, finance, product, and GTM teams to move partnerships from concept through to execution.
  • Ensure that partnership initiatives are effectively operationalized across HubSpot's product, sales, marketing, and developer ecosystems.
  • Manage integrated go-to-market initiatives with partners, ensuring they align with broader business objectives and deliver measurable pipeline impact.
  • Monitor performance and assess partnership health, leveraging data and executive reporting to inform optimization strategies and future investment decisions.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has demonstrated experience owning and scaling strategic technology partnerships with enterprise or platform partners.
  • Is adept at negotiating agreements and commercial terms, collaborating closely with legal and finance to structure mutually beneficial deals.
  • Possesses strong deal-making instincts, capable of identifying opportunities, aligning incentives, and motivating stakeholders to action.
  • Has a proven track record of managing complex, multi-party initiatives involving senior stakeholders across various organizations.
  • Thrives in ambiguous and fast-paced environments, bringing clarity and structure where none may exist.
  • Exhibits strong executive communication skills and can effectively influence across business development, product, legal, finance, developer relations, and marketing functions.
  • Understands AI/ML, cloud ecosystems, or developer platforms and how platform partnerships drive growth.
  • Has a history of translating strategic partnerships into tangible business outcomes such as revenue, adoption, distribution, or ecosystem expansion.
