Job Overview

HubSpot is looking for a Security Engineer with expertise in implementing, troubleshooting, and managing security tools to protect our organization’s assets. In this role, you will evaluate, deploy, and maintain security technologies across our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Security Tool Implementation: Plan, deploy, and configure solutions including SASE, EDR, and SIEM tools.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve real-time issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Tool Evaluation and Testing: Research, test, and recommend new security technologies and lead proof-of-concept projects.
  • System Integration: Collaborate with IT teams to integrate tools across cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Automation and Optimization: Develop scripts to automate tasks and improve system efficiency.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain detailed documentation and share best practices.
  • Collaboration and Mentorship: Work with security teams and provide training to junior members.

Qualifications

Candidates should have 3+ years in cybersecurity focusing on security engineering, tool deployment, and troubleshooting. A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required along with relevant certifications (CISSP, GIAC, CEH, etc.). Hands-on experience with security tools (endpoint protection, SIEM, vulnerability management, EDR, DLP, network security) is essential. Familiarity with scripting languages and cloud environments is expected.

Pay & Benefits

The annual cash compensation range is approximately $108,000 to $162,000 USD, with additional bonus plans and equity opportunities available. HubSpot offers a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits designed to support employee growth and well-being.
