About the Role: General Manager, Economist

This is a unique opportunity to join HSE Workplace Health & Wellbeing as a General Manager, Economist. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role within the Office of the Assistant National Director - Capital, Capital & Estates. This permanent, whole-time vacancy offers a chance to contribute significantly to strategic capital planning and economic analysis within Ireland's health service.

The role is open to both internal HSE staff and external applicants, providing a broad platform for talented economists to make a meaningful impact on public health infrastructure and investment decisions.

Location

This position is based in Dublin, with initial assignment to the office of the Assistant National Director - Capital, Capital & Estates. The primary office locations are:

  • Sir Patrick Duns, Lower Grand Canal St., Dublin 2
  • Swords Business Campus, Balheary Road, Swords, Co Dublin

The successful candidate's specific location will be determined in agreement with the Assistant National Director - Capital, Capital & Estates.

A panel may be formed from this campaign to fill current and future permanent and specified purpose vacancies, both full-time and part-time, for Economist (General Manager) roles within the Capital & Estates division.
