Overview

HSBC seeks a Business Management Intern for Fixed Income Trading in the COO Office. This role is based in Paris and offers a chance to work within Global Debt Markets in a dynamic, international context.

Team and Mission

Join the European Hub at HSBC in Paris to assist the Business Manager Senior with project management and activity tracking for Global Debt Markets and Securities Financing desks. You will work closely with Trading, Structuration, Sales, and the COO Office, as well as support functions such as Risk, IT, and Control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with project management and trading support preparations.
  • Prepare, analyze, and follow-up on development projects.
  • Support reporting by producing trading activity and statistical reports.
  • Collaborate with trading desks and fellow interns to develop decision support tools.
  • Assist with the development of new activities in continental Europe.

Candidate Profile

Candidates should be in Bac+4/5 from an established business school or university with a focus on market finance. Proficiency in French and English is required with additional languages a plus. Essential technical skills include Python, Visual Basic, Microsoft Office and familiarity with SQL. A prior financial experience is an advantage.
