What You Will Do
Global Trade Solutions France (GTS) is a strategic business of the HSBC Group attached to commercial banking, with a history spanning over 150 years. HSBC is recognized as "the leading corporate bank," and GTS, which encompasses Trade Finance, Guarantees, Supply Chain Finance, and Receivables Finance (particularly Factoring), is recognized as a leading global provider of corporate services.
GTS in France is part of a global business model deployed in 65 countries. The role holder will be responsible for developing GTS revenue from a portfolio of CIB clients and prospects.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercially cover a portfolio of French CIB Groups (Global Corporate clients in the Diversified Industries sector), both clients and prospects of HSBC, focusing on GTS topics for financing and securing their international trade activities, factoring, and optimizing their working capital needs.
- Explore all business opportunities in close collaboration with coverage teams, various business lines in France, and Group subsidiaries, proposing and implementing tailored GTS solutions within the Group's offering.
- Involve in the execution of recommended solutions (systems, processing, monitoring) while focusing on operational optimization for the client.
- Develop intra-group synergies by sharing information to leverage real opportunities and thus maximize revenue.
- Participate in the implementation of the commercial strategy and marketing plan in collaboration with the GTS Commercial Manager and CIB Coverage.
- Work collaboratively with the CIB Coverage team to (i) define commercial actions and target priority clients/prospects, and (ii) provide technical expertise in the preparation of GTS solutions.
- Participate in the evolution of the Group's offering by validating assumptions made regarding clients' explicit and implicit needs, and their consideration by the Product team.
- Maintain a perfect understanding of internal rules and procedures and ensure strict compliance with HSBC's compliance rules.
Candidate Profile

- Knowledge of the market and its trends, the competitive landscape, and the regulatory environment.
- Ability to mobilize network teams and demonstrate rigor, expertise, and strong added value in client relations.
