Overview

Join HSBC's Global Design Team within International Wealth and Premier Banking and help create best-in-class digital experiences for affluent customers worldwide. As a Lead Visual Designer, you will elevate the visual language of digital products by designing high-quality visual assets.

Your Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Designing icons, pictograms, illustrations, and motion graphics.
  • Developing and maintaining a consistent illustration style.
  • Creating animated assets to enhance user interactions.
  • Collaborating with UX, content, research, and engineering teams.
  • Ensuring alignment with HSBC’s design system and brand guidelines.
  • Participating in critiques and reviews to give and receive actionable feedback.
  • Adapting designs to cultural nuances and regulatory needs.

Requirements

A strong portfolio that showcases visual craft in iconography, illustration and UI assets is essential. Experience with motion design, micro-interactions, and mentoring designers is highly valued. A basic understanding of UI/UX, accessibility, and responsive design is required.
