About the Lead Business Analyst Role at HSBC

HSBC is one of the largest global banking and financial services organisations. Join a dynamic team involved in providing functional support for business, product owner, and Agile teams while evolving product roadmaps and managing product backlogs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide functional support and manage product backlogs.
  • Perform solution analysis on customer journeys and product functionality.
  • Work on low to medium complexity technology projects across units and geographies.
  • Ensure Agile delivery methodologies are followed in projects.
  • Support project lifecycle from requirements gathering to go live.
  • Contribute to core banking learnability and development.
  • Lead Agile teams using DevOps practices and Agile tools.
  • Apply technical capabilities such as cloud, digital, or microservices.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, problem-solving and business analysis skills, with a self-motivated and independent work ethic. Excellent communication, domain knowledge in core banking, and relevant certifications are preferred. An MBA or CA is an advantage.
