About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.
In This Role, You Will
- Automate the continuous integration / continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team, driving a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure service resilience, service sustainability, and recovery time objectives are met for all software solutions delivered.
- Collaborate with central teams (architecture, security, engineering, networks).
- Implement DevOps / Automation on GCP according to system requirements.
- Resolve technical and process blockers for cloud migration/adoption.
- Ensure deployments, patch management, and infrastructure repavement are under control.
- Maintain SLAs, troubleshoot workflows, and ensure the system is always up and running.
- Work in a team located across multiple countries/regions.
- Adapt and learn new things.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience.
- Good experience in production support, with flexibility for odd hours.
- Experience in large-scale, complex global programs.
- Coding experience in GCP (Python preferred), BQ SQL.
- Good knowledge of Containers, Docker, Kubernetes (preferred).
- Knowledge of DevOps processes and automation (e.g., Jenkins pipelines).
- Knowledge of GCP services like BigQuery, Bigtable, Dataproc, Dataflow, Pub/Sub (preferred).
- Experience with ITIL framework (incident, problem, change management).
