About the Role

Join HSBC as a DevOps Engineer Senior Consultant Specialist. In this role, you will contribute as an individual contributor with hands-on coding and development skills, ensuring successful delivery of both functional and non-functional milestones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated processes.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible for reliable provisioning.
  • Automate system tasks via scripting (Bash, Python, Ansible).
  • Manage containerized applications using Kubernetes for scalability.
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions and drive DevSecOps practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional global teams in an Agile environment.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to internal control standards.

Technical Skills

  • Unix/Linux administration and Bash scripting expertise.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
  • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Experience with configuration management using Ansible.
  • Understanding of Maven and DevSecOps practices.

Good to Have

  • Familiarity with Cloud fundamentals (Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with Docker and administration of Elasticsearch, Kafka, or Redis clusters.
