Overview

Join HSBC as the Assistant Director, Portfolio Analytics and Insights in Bangalore. In this role, you will work within the Risk & Compliance business, overseeing, managing projects, and providing thought leadership in developing and enhancing Originations & Account Management strategies.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Oversee project management, planning, and hands-on contribution.
  • Develop, review, and enhance strategies for Originations & Account Management.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on portfolio trends and macroeconomic scenarios.
  • Support campaign/growth initiatives and regulatory delivery requirements.
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis and develop strategic MI for key portfolios.
  • Streamline processes to bring effectiveness and efficiency.

What You Will Need To Succeed

  • At least 10+ years of analytics experience in retail lending risk activities.
  • Experience in acquisition, account management strategy, and portfolio management.
  • Excellent quantitative and technical aptitude to solve open-ended problems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • An advanced degree in Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or MBA with quantitative focus.

Preferred Additional Skills

Experience in risk analytics domains including scorecards, loss forecasting, and Portfolio Insights/MI.
