We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Director, Fraud Product Manager.
In This Role, You Will
- Perform a project management role supporting the delivery of Credit / Collections / Fraud Change Programs.
- Ensure the delivery of information to support strategic and tactical information needs, overseeing data integration and development of data stores.
- Prioritize and assign large-scale business initiatives, performing high-level reviews to ensure conformance to business requirements.
- Deliver high-quality analytical solutions for existing clients and partner with stakeholders in formulating key analytical strategies.
- Ensure positive scores in Business Partner Surveys and translate analytical solutions for re-deployment across regions.
- Routinely use management information to monitor and enhance business, projects, and system access, and enforce compliance & business policies.
- Continuously review key risks and proactively institute controls.
- Inspire trust and credibility through personal integrity and ethical behavior.
- Equip the team with relevant training, develop them, reward, recognize and retain high performers, and positively confront underperformance.
- Translate Business Strategic Imperatives into actionable analytical solutions.
- Understand industry practices and recommend HSBC strategies and plans.
- Proactively support change initiatives and innovative analytical thinking for improved business performance.
To Be Successful You Will
- Apply a good knowledge of project management to support effective program governance.
- Experience in Project managing and delivering IT change initiatives.
- Ability to create a complete execution roadmap and delivery activity-based plan, tracking milestones through regular scrums.
- Employ strong understanding of analytical tools and techniques to prepare and analyze reports, identifying and sharing areas of risk.
- Evaluate and report on project performance, status, and risks, supporting critical governance processes.
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Understand technical environment capabilities and limitations to lead technical architecture analysis, design, and implementation.
- Ensure technical requirements align with customer goals and strategy, with right solution delivery in alignment with technology teams.
- Required: Fraud domain knowledge on various typologies, fraud mitigants, and fraud technologies.
- Desired: Fraud systems experience (onboarding or transaction monitoring).
- Drive testing and validations against various test case scenarios (Unit test, System integration test, Performance test, etc.).
- Demonstrate cohesive support to IT functions in build and release processes.
Additional Responsibilities as Expertise Grows
- Drive collaborations and synergies to integrate analytics solutions across multiple supporting teams.
- Surmise business priorities and enable effective delivery of projects and analysis.
- Prioritize best practice adoption and implement efficiency and process improvements.
- Mentor new joiners and support their day-to-day deliveries.
- Implement group improvement initiatives from an end-to-end perspective.
