The Compliance Manager Risk and Governance reports to the Senior Manager, Risk and Governance and provides support across the HINV UK Compliance team. They are required to prioritise and work independently whilst being a part of a dynamic team.
The Value You’ll Add
The individual is expected to support the Regulatory Compliance team in executing their duties, understand and analyse complex issues to come to conclusions supported by evidence, and have excellent attention to detail. They will need to be able to work on confidential and sensitive matters, exercising good judgement in the execution of their role and putting the needs of the business first and in line with our regulatory obligations, supported by senior team members. For the right person, this role provides a learning and growth opportunity with possibility for team mobility and to develop an excellent transferable skillset.
What You Can Expect To Be Doing
- Supporting the production of management information to various committees on compliance and risks activities including to the governing body, Risk Management Meeting and other relevant HINV committees and forums.
- Review and assess risks across Regulatory Compliance, including maintaining the HINV monthly Risk Map and managing associating review and challenge.
- Supporting the annual refresh of Regulatory Compliance Risk Appetite Metrics and periodic metrics submissions.
- Oversight, reviewing and assessing Regulatory Compliance related issues and risk events and establishing the extent of any regulatory breaches and/or remediation required.
- Reviewing, challenging and disseminating policies and procedures for Regulatory Compliance.
- Creation and oversight of Regulatory Compliance related Operating Instructions.
- Assisting with ad hoc Compliance Advisory work as required, such as in relation to project work or training oversight.
- Supporting other ad-hoc projects as the need arises.
