Senior DevOps Engineer at HR POD Careers
HR POD Careers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team in Lahore. This role is crucial for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across all environments.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related engineering tools.
- Industry experience in eCommerce, FinTech, or Subscriptions based environments is highly desirable.
- AWS Certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner and/or AWS Certified Solution Architect.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Oracle Cloud, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Expertise in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and tools like Git, Docker, Grafana, etc.
- Solid understanding of security protocols and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure.
- Manage and monitor production, staging, and development environments.
- Develop and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Set up and maintain robust monitoring systems using tools like CloudWatch, Grafana, and similar platforms.
- Implement and enforce security best practices, including vulnerability assessments and patch management.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize system performance, workflows, and processes.
- Work closely with development and other IT teams to integrate DevOps practices effectively.
