Overview
The Logistics Planner role at HP provides complex-level procurement support that includes addressing intricate issues and driving both tactical and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities
The candidate will:
- Provide advanced procurement support utilizing subject matter expertise.
- Solve complex issues and drive process standardizations and program integration.
- Monitor production scheduling by tracking material inventories and production progress.
- Develop strategies to improve warehouse operations, quality, and logistics.
- Collaborate with teams and build productive relationships with suppliers.
- Mentor junior team members and provide independent analytical support.
Requirements
A four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline with 4-7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of experience is recommended.
Skills & Competencies
The role requires strong capabilities in Continuous Improvement, Data Analysis, ERP, Inventory Management, Lean Manufacturing, and SAP Applications. Cross-organizational skills include effective communication, results orientation, learning agility, digital fluency, and customer centricity.
Benefits & Compensation
The position offers a salary range of $65,450 to $93,000 USD annually along with bonus and/or equity opportunities for U.S. candidates, plus a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and various insurance plans, generous time off policies, and more.
