About the Senior Project Manager Role

As a Senior Project Manager at Hourigan, you will drive significant projects to completion on-time and within budget, ensuring an exceptional owner experience. Your responsibilities include full project ownership from scheduling, budgeting, and contract management to team leadership and safety oversight.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate activities with the Superintendent and project team.
  • Manage project finances and contract documents.
  • Create and maintain construction schedules with input from subcontractors.
  • Oversee budget implementation and review subcontract agreements.
  • Conduct regular coordination and preconstruction meetings with owners and subcontractors.
  • Resolve project specific issues and maintain administrative logs.
  • Support safety procedures and quality control measures on site.
  • Drive client maintenance and business development efforts.
  • Manage team processes, mentoring staff consistent with Hourigan's values.
  • Participate in the Hourigan Safety and Health Management System (SHMS).

Qualifications and Experience

  • B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of industry experience, with substantial exposure to general contracting.
  • Expertise in construction estimating, document administration, and industry practices.
  • Experience with LEED certification, scheduling software, Textura, CMiC, and Bluebeam.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and customer-centric skills.
