Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Project Manager is responsible for driving projects to completion on-time and within budget while providing an exceptional experience for our owners. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating all activities with the Superintendent and project team.
  • Managing project finances and internal financial reporting.
  • Organizing and maintaining contract documents.
  • Preparing construction schedules and coordinating with subcontractors.
  • Overseeing budgets, reviewing subcontracts and managing owner change orders.
  • Scheduling coordination meetings and ensuring resolution of project issues.
  • Supporting on-site quality control, safety procedures and managing RFIs and RFPs.
  • Managing a small team, providing oversight, direction, and mentoring.
  • Participating in Hourigan's Safety and Health Management System (SHMS).

Qualifications and Experience

Required qualifications include:

  • B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of general contracting experience.
  • Strong skills in construction estimating, scheduling, document administration, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with scheduling software, Textura, Procore, and Bluebeam is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage employees and foster a team culture in line with Hourigan’s values.
  • LEED certification is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel periodically.
