Bartender

Position Summary

Our Bartender role at Hotels AI goes beyond merely mixing drinks; it's about crafting memorable and unique guest experiences. We seek individuals who not only have a strong foundation in bartending basics but are also proactive in identifying new trends, leveraging micro-local offerings, and anticipating guests’ evolving preferences. As a host of the bar space, you will take ownership of broader guest service, ensuring the bar functions flawlessly and looks impeccable.

You will build strong relationships with colleagues across the hotel and within the community to anticipate and deliver on our guests' needs. This role requires a passion for exceptional guest service and a keen eye for detail, from managing transactions accurately to providing precise guest information and consistently delivering high-quality beverages.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Create memorable and unique beverage experiences for guests.
• Stay current with new drink trends and local offerings.
• Anticipate and respond to guests' evolving needs and preferences.
• Maintain the bar area to ensure it functions flawlessly and looks professional.
• Provide excellent guest service, extending beyond the bar.
• Handle financial transactions with accuracy and integrity.
• Build relationships with hotel staff and community members.

Workplace Standards and Physical Requirements

Success in this role requires a commitment to creating a safe workplace, adhering to company policies and procedures, protecting company assets, and maintaining confidentiality. A professional uniform and personal appearance are essential. Bartenders will be on their feet, moving around extensively (standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods). The role involves a hands-on approach, including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, as well as reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None required.
