Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in contracts and physician managed care contract negotiations.
  • Coordinate physician enrollment in managed care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with negotiated contracts.
  • Follow up on and resolve payment issues with insurance payors.
  • Act as a liaison between physician offices and insurance payors.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and document PHO related meetings.
  • Create and maintain tracking logs for payor issues.
  • Oversee the PHO phone line and respond to inquiries.
  • Maintain punctuality and satisfactory attendance.
  • Adjust to changing work assignments and environments.

Experience & Skills

Scientific background required with an outstanding record of academic achievement and research experience (0-2 years). Proven record of leadership, effective teamwork across all organizational levels, excellent organizational skills, and strong written and oral communication skills.

Working Conditions

Physically, the role requires continuous standing/walking and handling of materials weighing 20 to 50 lbs. The role is indoors with exposure to dust, fumes, temperature changes, and noise. There is a potential exposure to blood, body fluids, and other infectious materials.

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree required. Additional certifications and licensure are preferred.
