Position Overview

The Human Resources Insights Director will establish and lead a newly created HR data and analytics function. This role partners with HR and IT leadership to build capabilities from the ground up, defining a strategy for how workforce data is governed, analyzed, and translated into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an HR analytics strategy and roadmap.
  • Create dashboards, reporting tools, and predictive models.
  • Ensure data governance, quality, and secure data usage.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and Workday teams to integrate data.
  • Champion evidence-based decision making across the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Data Analytics, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 8+ years in HR, workforce analytics, or related roles.
  • Expertise in Workday reporting and analytics with additional HRIS experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience in developing and implementing strategic analytics solutions.

Additional Information

This is a full time role with a base pay scale ranging from $150,000.00 to $215,000.00 plus additional benefits. Salary is determined based on role scope, experience, and other factors. Hospital for Special Surgery is committed to non-discrimination and provides equal opportunity.
