What You Will Be Doing as a Clinical Nurse I - Infusion

As an integral member of the Magnet Nursing team, your primary focus will be the delivery of world-class patient care. Working in an evidence-based Nursing environment that demands excellence every day, you will provide comprehensive care to patients and their families to enhance their experience through the Infusion Therapy Unit. This role involves thorough patient assessment and history-taking in a high-volume, fast-paced ambulatory care setting, primarily serving rheumatology patients scheduled for Infusion Therapy.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

  • Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based patient care to enhance the patient and family experience.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and history-taking.
  • Administer Infusion Therapy in a high-volume, fast-paced ambulatory setting.
  • Serve rheumatology patients requiring Infusion Therapy.
  • Utilize Intravenous (IV), Phlebotomy, and Electrocardiogram (EKG) skills.
  • Maintain excellent organization and communication skills to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Current NY State registration and license as a Registered Nurse.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in med-surg or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Intravenous (IV) skills.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Demonstrated venipuncture skills.
  • Infusion Therapy experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Rheumatology patients.
  • Additional Infusion Therapy experience.

Compensation

The base pay scale for this full-time position is $70.19 - $78.26 per hour. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The final salary will be determined based on various factors, including scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, and budget, subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The listed hiring range is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
