About the Role: AI & Data Semantics Lead

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with AI and LLM teams to define and govern business meanings for data assets, ensuring clarity in training and workflows.
- Translate business concepts into structured semantic artifacts to enhance AI system consumption.
- Lead sessions to uncover domain knowledge and convert it into reusable semantic assets for diverse teams.
- Develop and maintain enterprise business glossaries and taxonomies to ensure consistency across domains and use cases.
- Align semantic definitions with data products, supporting data governance and quality initiatives.
Skills Required
- Strong background in business analysis and data product roles.
- Proven experience in metadata management platforms like Alation.
- Ability to translate technical data into business language effectively.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills for stakeholder engagement.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with building taxonomies and conceptual data models to improve organizational data understanding.
- Experience partnering with teams in data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML.
