HTS Media is Hopper’s advertising and media division, built to help travel brands, destinations, and suppliers connect with travelers at scale. The division powers advertising placements across Hopper’s app and through its B2B partner network.
We are on a mission to build the travel industry’s leading retail media network, turning advertising into a major driver of profitability for both Hopper and its partners.
What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like
- Lead and scale the engineering team for the ad platform.
- Partner with product and business leaders to define the roadmap.
- Recruit and develop top engineering talent and future leaders.
- Ensure systems are robust, scalable, and built for rapid iteration.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with data science, product, and sales.
- Innovate on travel retail media delivery, measurement, and monetization.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 8+ years of engineering experience with 3+ years in team management.
- Experience with complex, distributed systems and ad tech platforms.
- Successful track record in partnering with product and business teams.
- Skilled at attracting, mentoring, and growing engineering talent.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Passion for leveraging technology in travel, marketplaces, or advertising.
