Overview
Honolulu Freight Service is seeking a dependable Customer Service Representative to join our Ohana. The Freight Customer Service Rep plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth transportation of goods while building positive customer relationships through reliable support during the shipping process.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with order processing for shipments
- Provide real-time shipment tracking updates
- Handle issue resolution during transit
- Prepare and process shipping documentation
- Maintain clear communication with customers, carriers, and internal teams
- Offer guidance on shipping options, packaging, and transit times
- Manage assigned customer accounts and coordinate bookings with truckers and carriers
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Freight experience is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Able to operate internal company systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong stress management and multitasking abilities
- Basic math, written and oral skills
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Comply with drug and alcohol testing requirements
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged desk sitting and computer work
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
- Use of standard office equipment (fax, scanner, copier, printer)
