Job Summary

The VP Strategic Network Infrastructure & Operations will lead and deliver high-impact network projects and architectural initiatives ensuring a high-performance, secure, and future-proof infrastructure. This role supports quality leadership ensuring growing demands are met without increasing headcount.

Job Duties

Responsibilities:

  • Drive end-to-end delivery of network initiatives aligned to business goals.
  • Define and evolve enterprise network architecture with automation and security.
  • Allocate resources across multiple strategic projects.
  • Ensure architectural decisions comply with IT governance and cybersecurity standards.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Oversee procurement processes, budget management and expenditure control.
  • Identify, assess and manage IT risks in network projects.
  • Improve documentation including IT assets, configurations, and network diagrams.
  • Stay abreast of emerging network technologies and best practices.
  • Enforce network design standards for consistency and scalability.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in IT network projects; 5+ years in management.
  • Certifications such as CCIE, CISSP, CISA are highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in network architecture and project delivery.
  • Expertise in advanced network technologies including ACI, VxLAN, SDWAN, cloud networking, and network security.
  • Experience with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, SolarWinds, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead diverse teams and drive results independently.
