Job Overview

Honeywell is seeking a Senior Advanced Project Engineer to join our team in Bucharest. This hybrid role involves working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. You will play a key role in supervising application engineering projects, interfacing with customers in the oil & gas, petrochemical, and refinery sectors, and ensuring project requirements are met within scope, schedule, and budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise application engineering delivery and act as technical interface with customers.
  • Coordinate with third-party suppliers ensuring proper integration into Honeywell systems.
  • Produce and approve Functional and Detailed Design Specifications.
  • Monitor project scope and control changes against the execution plan.
  • Travel within EMEA as required (approximately 30% travel).

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in an engineering discipline.
  • 3-5 years experience in advanced/senior/lead project engineering.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Romanian.
  • Experience in DCS, PLC, and continuous control applications.
  • Hands-on experience in system integration, FEED, FDS, and DDS processes.
