About The Role

Honeywell is hiring an Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering Summer 2026 Intern! Envision, design, and develop products and systems as a highly engaged and integrated engineering team. You will work closely with and partner across Honeywell engineering teams to create solutions and systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will help participate in all phases of product development and will be part of a group of hardworking engineers whose expertise ensures the success of engineering projects and programs.

 

Location and Compensation

This position is available in multiple locations across the United States. Specific worksite location will be determined based on business needs and alignment with the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The hourly base range for this position is $20.00/hr - $42.00/hr. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

 

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or similar field.
  • Must graduate December 2026 or later.
  • Must continue enrollment in degree program upon completion of the internship.
  • Validated academic excellence (3.0 GPA and higher).
  • Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

Honeywell is currently unable to consider applicants who would require current or future sponsorship for employment authorization for this position. Candidates must be authorized to legally work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.

Internship Benefits

Interning at Honeywell provides hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, professional development, and mentorship within a global organization. Interns will receive relocation benefits and short-term housing if they are 50 miles or more from their assigned work location (excluding Puerto Rico and Canada).
