Regional Sales Manager
This is a front-line field sales management role accountable for building and leading a team and managing all operations related to the sales force in the New Jersey and New York regions. The role is responsible for sales growth and the management of all territory managers within the appointed region.
Responsible for leveraging existing relationships with customers as well as developing new business relationships. Proactively create awareness and presence to ensure that prospective and existing customers are familiar with all Homans services.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities by identifying potential customer accounts and building rapport with key decision makers.
- Establish clear sales objectives for the week, month, and year.
- Lead, teach, motivate, and inspire a team of Territory Managers to achieve or exceed sales objectives.
- Drive the strategy and sales, including training, resource planning, and performance management of the sales team.
- Conduct regular field visits and business reviews to ensure proper program utilization.
- Initiate and innovate marketing strategies to increase sales and reduce costs.
- Lead and inspire Territory Managers to perform beyond expectations.
- Monitor and track regional sales performance.
- Ensure customer issues are attended to efficiently.
- Attend cross-functional meetings and interact directly with customers to educate them on products.
- Attend trade shows as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years relevant sales experience.
- Experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role; HVAC sales experience is a plus.
- Motivated, driven personality with the ability to work autonomously.
- Exceptional relationship and communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
