Mitsubishi Residential Product Specialist

About the Role

Homans Associates (HA), a subsidiary of Watsco, Inc., is the largest independent HVAC/R distributor in the world, specializing in the Mitsubishi Electric brand. This full-time role is based in Portland, ME and focuses on project management, sales growth, and expanding business in designated geographical market(s) for Mitsubishi Residential products.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all Mitsubishi business for Ductless M&P (residential & light commercial) and VRF Commercial product lines.
• Support sales growth by consulting mechanical contractors and promoting product selections.
• Provide quotes, project design & application support using Mitsubishi Design System Builder program and other sales tools.
• Cultivate new customer relationships and business opportunities, including contractors, builders, and direct accounts.
• Lead and train the Homans Associates outside sales team with application support and product knowledge.
• Collaborate with Mitsubishi personnel and internal teams to meet customer needs and maximize marketing programs.
• Work with management for market feedback and achieving fiscal sales goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 5+ years HVAC experience, particularly in ductless and VRF systems.
• Proficient in new software (Salesforce, Bluebeam, Mitsubishi DSB design software, Microsoft Office).
• Strong interpersonal, technical, and problem-solving skills with a high sense of urgency.
• A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and works with minimal supervision.
