Job Overview
Homans Associates (HA), a subsidiary of Watsco, Inc., is looking for a Mechanical Insulation Inside Sales professional. The company distributes Mitsubishi and Bryant HVAC/R equipment along with a wide range of parts and accessories across New England, New York, and New Jersey.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the growth of sales through product selections and pricing.
- Use computer databases to check merchandise availability and process orders.
- Maintain productive relationships with customers and sales teams.
- Answer incoming calls, determine merchandise needs, and advise on features.
- Assist the outside sales team with project documentation and order processing.
- Monitor and process open orders, purchase orders, and returns.
- Alert management regarding inventory issues or customer concerns.
- Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Highly motivated self-starter with minimal supervision needed.
- Strong sense of urgency and excellent communication skills.
- Mechanical insulation knowledge highly preferred.
- Strong PC and software literacy.
- Desire to succeed and learn for future growth.
- Excellent customer relations and service skills.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
