Job Description

The Delivery Driver role at HOM Furniture involves driving a straight truck along a daily delivery route.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver customers’ furniture including assembly and installation when required.
  • Inspect furniture for flaws or damage.
  • Resolve customer complaints as they arise.
  • Inspect and clean the company vehicle to maintain presentation and functionality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (or in progress).
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a D.O.T. Medical Physical.
  • 1-3 years of related experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 150 pounds solo and 300 pounds with team assistance.
  • Physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing, ladder and stair climbing.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
