Position Overview

The Operational Marketing Specialist owns HubSpot marketing automation, CRM integrations, and performance reporting. This role focuses on creating efficient, automated processes that generate qualified leads and accelerate growth. The position is full-time and hybrid, requiring presence in the Palatine, IL office 2 days a week and remote work for the remaining 3 days.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain HubSpot workflows and lead scoring models.
  • Develop and execute email nurture campaigns for targeted buyer journeys.
  • Create and manage HubSpot dashboards, attribution reporting, and analytics.
  • Plan and execute multi-channel digital campaigns.
  • Maintain brand consistency and leverage AI tools for campaign efficiency.
  • Optimize customer journey and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Manage trade show logistics, promotional materials, and sales collateral.
  • Deliver measurable results including increased lead conversion and improved sales alignment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on CRM marketing and HubSpot experience.
  • Proven expertise in email marketing automation and campaign optimization.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics with data-driven recommendations.
  • Excellent project management and multitasking skills.
  • Bonus: Experience in technical/B2B industry or water treatment marketing.
  • Strong communication, creative problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Reliable transportation and a distraction-free home workspace required for remote work.
  • Must pass drug screening and background checks and be legally authorized to work in the United States.
