Technical Analyst Integrations at HM Revenue & Customs
We’re looking for a Technical Analyst Integrations to join our team and help design, deliver, and support the integrations that keep our systems connected. If you enjoy solving complex data and API challenges, partnering with engineers and product teams, and making sure systems talk to each other smoothly and securely, this role is for you.
What you’ll do
- Analyse requirements and define integration approaches, data mappings, and interface specs.
- Support delivery of API, event-driven, and data‑flow integrations.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure reliable, secure data movement.
- Work with architects, developers, and business teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
- Maintain documentation, support incidents, and help improve integration standards.
What you’ll bring
- Strong knowledge of APIs, REST/SOAP, JSON/XML, system interfaces, and data flows.
- Experience with integration platforms or cloud integration tools.
- Confident producing technical documentation and performing impact analysis.
- Solid problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly between technical and non‑technical teams.
- Experience with AWS integration services, Kafka or similar and iPaaS platforms.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and security practices (OAuth2, certificates).
