Role Overview: CAE Data Hardware Engineer

The CAE Data Hardware Engineer will be responsible for configuring site/station specific data for electronic interlocking, train control systems and Traffic Management Systems in line with customer requirements. You will prepare PT2 hardware designs, materialize hardware, develop installation and validation documents and liaise with internal teams to ensure design quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare PT2 hardware design for indoor and outdoor equipment.
  • Create and manage documents for installation, manufacturing, and validation.
  • Design complex projects based on customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and project groups.
  • Participate in continuous process improvement and offer preparation.
  • Produce and manage design baselines, verify engineering data, and review defects.

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master in Electronics, Engineering, or IT.
  • Knowledge of railway operations and signalling (L90/L905 desirable).
  • Familiarity with MS Office and CAD programs.
  • Strong configuration management skills.
  • Professional English; German is a plus.
