The Opportunity

Take the lead in developing and executing sourcing strategies that optimize cost, quality, and supplier reliability. In the role of IT Services Category Manager, you will manage complex projects and shape supplier relationships through strategic negotiations and contracts.

How You Will Make An Impact

As the IT Services Category Manager you will:

  • Develop and manage global category strategies for software, SaaS and IT services.
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing processes including market analysis, supplier identification, RFI/RFP, negotiation, and contract finalization.
  • Negotiate complex software licensing and cloud service agreements with major global vendors.
  • Drive cost optimization, demand management, standardization and consolidation.
  • Build strong relationships with IT, Legal, Finance and Business Units.
  • Monitor software market trends, emerging technologies, and supplier landscapes.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, legal requirements and industry best practices.
  • Mentor and support junior procurement professionals.

Your Background

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, IT or related field (Master's or certifications preferred). A minimum of 5 years experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management with at least 3 years in Software or IT services is required. Proven negotiation skills, strong analytical acumen, and proficiency in procurement tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, ServiceNow) are essential.
