About The Role
This Sr Business Analyst role partners with a reputable financial services client to drive strategic change initiatives. Based in Edinburgh or Glasgow with a hybrid working model, you will lead discovery sessions, gather and analyze requirements, and ensure successful project delivery involving software development, regulatory compliance, and organizational transformation.
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions and document business requirements.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, IT, Operations, and Architecture teams.
- Refine and prioritize backlog items in JIRA.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and mentor junior analysts.
- Promote data-driven decision-making and ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
Possession of a recognized Business Analysis Certification is required, with Agile certifications (e.g., CSPO, PMI-ACP) preferred. Experience with financial services, proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or MIRO, and a good understanding of IT infrastructure are important.
