About The Senior Backend Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team at Hirenza. This pivotal role involves designing and developing robust, scalable, and secure backend services that power our core business operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining APIs that facilitate seamless communication between client-facing applications and internal systems. Additionally, this role includes orchestrating complex data flows, optimizing system performance, and ensuring the reliability and security of our backend infrastructure. As a senior member of the engineering team, you will also play a vital role in mentoring junior engineers, sharing best practices, and contributing to the technical growth of the team. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 to 7 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable APIs and data architectures.
• Expertise in Go programming language is essential.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud-based deployment (preferably AWS or similar platforms).
• Strong knowledge of database systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Prior experience mentoring junior engineers and participating in code reviews is highly desirable.
