About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our dynamic Cyber Tech Strategy & Architecture team within the Tech Information Security Office. This role is integral to maintaining and enhancing the security posture of our global infrastructure. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will work closely with cybersecurity stakeholders, project teams, and support functions to develop, deploy, and sustain advanced security systems. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring security operations, analyzing security data, handling security incidents, and implementing secure design principles across our technology landscape. Qualifications

• Proven experience working with Red Hat Linux environments in a large enterprise setting.
• Strong scripting skills in BASH and proficiency in Python programming or equivalent languages.
• Experience designing, planning, and deploying security solutions at an enterprise scale.
• Familiarity with change control processes, particularly using Git.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
• Strong technical communication skills and ability to document complex processes clearly.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure system development.
• Experience working within large organizational structures is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and incident management systems is preferred.

• Collaborating closely with Project Managers, Technical Architects, 2nd-level support teams, and IT Business Analysts to ensure seamless security integration.
• Providing technical consultancy to project teams, assisting in the development of security architectures, and ensuring adherence to security standards.
• Maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, including operational manuals, installation guides, and system configurations.
• Monitoring security systems, analyzing security data, and responding to security incidents promptly and effectively.
• Implementing security best practices and secure design principles across all technology domains.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance security posture and operational efficiency.
