About the Role
The Cybersecurity Analyst IV - Data Protection is a senior-level position focused on leading data protection initiatives, ensuring compliance with security regulations, and implementing best practices for safeguarding sensitive data.
Qualifications
Candidates should have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field, or an Associate's degree with relevant cybersecurity certifications. A minimum of nine years of experience in data protection, access management, security operations, vulnerability management, or compliance is required. Familiarity with GDPR, CUI, AWS, and Azure is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead data protection projects and control assessments.
- Implement solutions like DLP, tokenization, encryption, and logical access controls.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and IT teams to maintain optimal DLP infrastructure.
- Create and update operating procedures and performance metrics.
- Partner with legal teams on compliance, risk assessments, and policy improvements.
- Develop and implement data protection awareness campaigns.
- Provide guidance on data classification, handling, masking, and retention policies.
- Assist in incident response and forensic investigations.
- Enable secure deployment of AI and Machine Learning technologies.
- Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and coordinate audits.
