Remote Assistant Project Manager

Our client, a leading commercial roofing contractor, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Remote Assistant Project Manager to support their project management team in overseeing commercial roofing projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in planning, scheduling, and executing commercial roofing projects.
• Coordinate material orders, deliveries, subcontractor activities, and internal teams.
• Track project budgets, expenses, and change orders.
• Maintain project documentation including contracts, permits, and daily logs.
• Review site documentation to ensure project compliance.
• Participate in bidding, planning, and full life cycle project involvement.
• Communicate regularly with clients, field crews, and vendors.
• Support problem-solving on field issues.
• Prepare progress reports and assist in project closeout procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in construction or roofing, including project coordination/management.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; project management software knowledge is a plus.
• BlueBeam experience preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards and construction safety practices.
