Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Scrum Master (Freelancer) to join our team on a freelance basis. You will be responsible for facilitating Agile practices, ensuring smooth sprint execution, and helping teams deliver high-quality products efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Guide the team in adopting and adhering to Agile/Scrum principles.
- Remove impediments and ensure a smooth workflow for the development team.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the product backlog.
- Track sprint progress and ensure timely delivery of tasks.
- Promote continuous improvement and foster team collaboration.
- Monitor team performance using Agile metrics such as velocity and burndown charts.
- Ensure transparency and effective communication across all stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience working with cross-functional development teams.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
- Experience in IT/software development projects.
- Knowledge of scaling frameworks like SAFe or LeSS.
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
