About the Data Annotation Specialist Role

HireArt is partnering with a mobility technology company to find a Data Annotation Specialist to join its Data Operations team. In this role, you will contribute to annotation QA efforts, collaborating closely with the machine learning team and external vendors to ensure the creation of high-quality labeled data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with machine learning engineers and external vendors.
  • Curate, QA, and deliver high-quality labeled data.
  • Utilize third-party and proprietary tools to QA annotation tasks.
  • Support and improve data labeling workflows and tool improvements.
  • Assist the data annotation Ops lead.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with visual/spatial software (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS) in 2D and 3D.
  • Background in data annotation and data analysis, preferably within mobility or similar industries.
  • Quick learner with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Position Details

This is a full-time, 6-month contract position staffed via HireArt. The role is remote and available to U.S.-based candidates, with a preference for those local to the Bay Area, CA.
