AI Red Teaming Generalist at HireArt
HireArt is helping a global leader in AI development hire AI Red Teaming Generalists to train generative AI models and applications and ensure they provide safe, accurate, and responsible content. This entry-level role suits strong writers and analytical thinkers who want to apply those skills in AI safety and red teaming.
In this role, you will help test how AI models and applications behave with safety-sensitive topics and edge cases. You will design prompts, evaluate outputs, and document evidence clearly and professionally in a structured process.
This role is available to U.S.-based candidates, excluding California.
As An AI Red Teaming Generalist, You'll
- Create original prompts that probe model and application behavior in complex or sensitive scenarios.
- Review, rank, and assess model and application outputs for accuracy, safety, and quality across text, image, video, audio, and agentic behaviors.
- Identify factual errors, misleading claims, and unsafe outputs; flag and document issues with clear, concise rationales.
- Communicate findings with professionalism and audience-appropriate detail; follow writing and format standards.
- Collaborate with peers and supervisors to meet project quality bars and deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent writing-centric experience.
- Excellent command of English grammar and style; ability to write clearly, concisely, and professionally.
- Ability to work with sensitive or graphic material.
- Strong attention to detail; structured, evidence-based judgment using templates, rubrics, and scorecards.
- Reliable execution, time management, and responsiveness in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Writing-intensive fields (copywriting, journalism, editing, education).
- Experience in content moderation, gaming communities, business, and/or digital cultures.
- Interest in AI/ML technologies and their societal impact.
Nice To Have
- CBRNE Expertise: Operational experience identifying and mitigating Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive (CBRNE) threats, experience with domain-specific safety frameworks, or wet lab experience.
- Cybersecurity: Background in cybersecurity, including penetration testing ("pen testing"), vulnerability assessment, or ethical hacking to test system resilience.
- Secure Testing Protocols: Familiarity with Data Export Controls or testing on secure, domestic infrastructure (e.g., Public Sector/US-persons only environments).
- Mental Health and Crisis Intervention: Professional experience in therapy, counseling, or suicide prevention.
- Counter-Extremism: Experience in de-radicalization or lived experience with reformed extremism.
- Financial Integrity: Background in fighting financial crime, forensic accounting, or fraud detection.
