Artificial Intelligence Engineer (Remote)

Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking an AI Engineer to work on a contract (part-time) basis. This role involves applying domain expertise to train next-generation AI systems by providing high-quality, real-world input that shapes how models learn, reason, and perform. The work directly contributes to the development of frontier AI models across domains such as finance, healthcare, engineering, and more. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize large language model (LLM) solutions using Python to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional experts to identify and solve real-world AI challenges in targeted domains.
• Develop scalable machine learning pipelines for training, fine-tuning, and inference of AI models.
• Evaluate AI model performance, troubleshoot issues, and propose data-driven improvements.
• Document technical processes, results, and evaluations with clarity to support team and stakeholder decisions.
• Stay current with AI advancements and recommend new tools or methodologies to enhance team capabilities.
• Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and experience using it to build and optimize machine learning models or pipelines.
• Strong understanding of large language models (LLMs) and their applications in real-world systems.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts, including training, fine-tuning, inference, and evaluation.
• Ability to analyze model performance and troubleshoot issues using structured evaluation methods.
• Experience documenting technical work clearly and concisely for diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and communicate technical ideas effectively.
• Background in a specialized domain (e.g., finance, healthcare, engineering) relevant to AI training data or evaluation.
