About The Role
The Pharmacist Quality Oversight & Compliance will serve as the primary contact for complaint management and adverse events related to compounded products and those obtained from third party suppliers or pharmacy partners. Reporting to the pharmacist in charge, the role is onsite and focuses on ensuring that complaints are thoroughly reviewed, investigated, and reported according to applicable state and federal rules and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage product quality complaints, adverse events, and related reporting requirements.
- Assist in investigations, data trending, and compliance reporting for continuous quality improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Compounding Operations, Dispense and Fulfill, Medical Affairs, R&D, Quality Operations, Post Market Surveillance and Customer Care.
- Support FDA/BOP inspections and document retrieval as necessary.
- Guide on workflow and product improvement implementations and assist with customer counseling.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D) with active pharmacist license.
- 2+ years of pharmacist experience. Compounding pharmacy experience is a plus.
- Strong background in complaint management, adverse event evaluation and root cause analysis.
- Proficiency in USP standards, state and federal regulations, and complaint management software.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
