This is a US based remote role and will require CST working hours.

We are seeking a talented software professional to join our technology team. This Software Quality Analyst role combines full-stack development expertise with comprehensive test automation capabilities, offering the opportunity to work on enterprise-level applications that drive business success. You will play a critical role in modernizing our technology stack, building robust backend services and intuitive user interfaces, while ensuring the highest quality standards through sophisticated automated testing frameworks. This position requires a versatile technologist who can seamlessly transition between development and quality assurance responsibilities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions that meet evolving business needs.

Responsibilities

• Migrate existing Node.js applications to TypeScript to improve code quality, safety, and consistency
• Design, build, and maintain backend services and REST APIs
• Develop and enhance web user interfaces using React.js and HTML5
• Create and maintain API documentation using Swagger and OpenAPI standards
• Integrate applications with enterprise systems such as B2B platforms
• Design and develop automated test frameworks and scripts for UI using Selenium and for REST APIs using Rest Assured and TestNG
• Implement automation using Selenium Java, Rest Assured, and relevant web UI automation tools
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Bamboo and GitHub
• Build and implement SQL queries and validate databases using automation tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, API, and integration issues
• Participate in test planning, test case design, defect reporting, and root cause analysis using JIRA
• Document, communicate, and escalate test results and defects
• Identify and document bugs clearly and concisely; validate bug fixes
• Provide accurate estimates for test strategy, design, and execution work
• Coordinate activities between US and remote testing teams as needed
• Contribute to Enterprise Test Automation Frameworks when needed
• Manage source code using Stash (Bitbucket) and version control systems

Skills

• Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and SQL
• Expertise in React.js, HTML5, and CSS for front-end development
• Advanced knowledge of Selenium, Rest Assured, TestNG, and automation frameworks
• Experience with Page Object Model design pattern
• Proficiency in BDD frameworks including Cucumber and Gherkin language
• Strong understanding of REST/JSON APIs and web services
• Experience with testing tools including JUnit, Appium, and Postman
• Knowledge of Extent Reports 2.0, Eclipse IDE, and IntelliJ
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization technologies
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Bamboo and GitHub
• Proficiency in Selenium Grid for parallel test execution across multiple browsers
• Strong understanding of cloud-based web application architecture
• Knowledge of AWS Cloud deployment technologies
• Experience in cloud testing and mobile automation testing
• Understanding of concurrency, threading, algorithms, and data structures
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with analytical capabilities
• Data-driven approach with ability to support theories and solutions using underlying data
• Critical thinking skills to translate sophisticated application flows into test cases
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in full-stack software development
• 5+ years experience in test automation development and framework design
• 2+ years experience working with enterprise B2B platforms and system integrations
• Background in collaborating with QA, product, and DevOps teams in cross-functional environments
