Overview
The Banquet Manager at Hilton is responsible for managing all banquets and events at Hilton Accra Cantonment. This role focuses on delivering an excellent guest and member experience, while optimizing sales, evaluating performance, and ensuring appropriate staffing levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all banquets and events with exceptional customer service.
- Evaluate guest satisfaction and continuously improve service quality.
- Build and enhance the range and quality of conference and banquet operations.
- Optimize sales, contain costs, and identify areas for action.
- Maintain effective communication internally and with external partners.
- Ensure staffing levels match business demands and conduct ongoing training.
- Manage staff performance in compliance with company policies.
- Recruit, train, and develop the banquet team.
- Adhere to hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation.
What We Are Looking For
Candidates should bring strong knowledge of the hospitality sector, with proven record in conference and banqueting operations. The ideal candidate should exhibit exceptional communication and leadership skills along with a passion for delivering outstanding guest service. Educational qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Hotel Management are advantageous.
