Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Azure data services, Snowflake, SQL, and ETL/ELT processes.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Azure data services.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for data ingestion and transformation.
- Create and manage data models, tables, and views in Snowflake.
- Integrate data from multiple sources into Azure and Snowflake environments.
- Write complex SQL queries and optimize data performance.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline issues.
- Collaborate with data analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, security, and governance standards are followed.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Strong SQL development skills.
- Experience with Python for data processing and automation.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts and data warehousing.
- Experience with Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD processes.
