Overview

HiCareer is supporting a remote-first marketplace company in their search for an Operations Specialist. This role is essential to a fast-moving fashion marketplace connecting emerging brands with global customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily marketplace operations including order processing and vendor coordination
  • Support onboarding and quality control for new brands
  • Monitor logistics performance and resolve operational issues
  • Analyze data on fulfilment, returns, and customer satisfaction for improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to address process gaps and automation opportunities

First 6 Months

  • Take ownership of order and vendor operations across multiple markets
  • Improve workflows to enhance seller satisfaction and delivery speed
  • Document and automate core operational processes
  • Support seasonal launches and form key partnerships

Requirements

  • 2–4 years in operations, logistics, or marketplace coordination
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and comfort with data and Excel/Sheets
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Experience with Shopify, Notion, or similar tools is a plus
  • Structured, curious, and driven by continuous improvement

Work Environment & Benefits
