Job Title: Construction Site Supervisor

Overview

Hi-Flyer Food (Canada) Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Site Supervisor to oversee projects and ensure quality and safety standards are met. This role involves coordinating activities, training staff, and managing resources on construction sites.

Job Details

  • Location: On-site, various locations
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, fast-paced, under pressure, tight deadlines
  • Experience Required: 3-5 years
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Supervision: 5-10 people

Responsibilities

  • Supervise workers and manage construction projects from start to finish.
  • Coordinate and schedule project activities to meet deadlines.
  • Train new team members or arrange for necessary training.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety regulations on site.
  • Make recommendations for personnel actions and improvements.
  • Requisition and order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Resolve work-related issues and provide technical advice to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports and other required documentation.
  • Inspect subcontractors' work to ensure quality and conformity with plans.
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers and working groups.

Qualifications

  • College/CEGEP education
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel
  • Basic security clearance required
